Dads, Grandpas, Uncles, Brothers, God-Fathers grab your special girl and dance the night away. The night will include a pizza and salad buffet, soft drinks, dessert and candy bar. Then grab your special girl and dance the night away.

Chicago Flower and Garden Show @ Navy Pier

An incredible array of inspiring florals and garden designs are the headliners at this popular Midwest event that is always the harbinger of spring. From activities for kids, how-to instruction for adults and a marketplace filled with garden tools and must-haves, The Chicago Flower and Garden Show offers realistic tips that every shade of green thumb can learn from, take home and use. Also, take some time to enjoy lunch before we return home at one of Navy Pier’s many restaurants. Please register by March 9th. Price includes transportation from Recreation Center and admission to flower and garden show. Hodgkins Park District bus will be picking up participants at Pleasant Dale Park District Recreation Center. Lunch is on your own.

Easter Egg Hunt

Cost: Free

The bunny has left eggs filled with candies and goodies. There are 6 golden eggs on the “bunny fields.” If you find the golden egg, please bring your egg to the front desk at Walker Park. Your golden surprise will be waiting for you. When your basket is full, hop on down to the Gazebo for a cookie and juice. Be sure to dress according to weather conditions. If it is raining, the event will be canceled and not rescheduled.

Extra Innings Kids Day Off

PARENTS, The kids have a half day. What are you going to do with them until you get home? You don’t want to hear, “I’m bored.” The solution is easy. Send them to Extra Innings. The afternoon will be filled with sports, games, outdoor fun, arts and crafts and maybe a movie. All you need to remember is pack a lunch for your child. An afternoon snack will be provided. The Extra Innings staff will make sure homework has been started.
