Extra Innings Kids Day Off

PARENTS: The kids have a half day. What are you going to do with them until you get home? You don’t want to hear, “I’m bored.” The solution is easy. Send them to Extra Innings. The afternoon will be filled with sports, games, outdoor fun, arts and crafts and maybe a movie. An afternoon snack will be provided. The Extra Innings staff will make sure homework has been started. Pizza lunch is included.

2017 IPRA Teen Ski Trip

Have fun learning to carve perfect turns, race down a slalom course, or master tricks in the terrain park with park district friends from all over Illinois. Wilmot Mountain in Wisconsin has 25 unique runs that will be engaging for novice and expert ski/snowboarders alike. Registration includes lift tickets; there are additional charges for ski, snowboard and helmet rentals. This teen trip will be a cooperative trip with other area park districts. Drop-off and pick-up times as well as meeting locations are subject to change. Please contact Eric Sloyan at 630-662-6220 for more details or if you have any questions or concerns. Waivers from IPRA and Wilmont Mountain will need to be completed.

Daddy-Daughter Dance

Cost: $30 res/$39 nr

Dads, Grandpas, Uncles, Brothers, God-Fathers grab your special girl and dance the night away. The night will include a dinner, soft drinks and dessert. There will be a photographer on site to capture your special night (for a nominal fee).

Nerf Wars Tournament

Cost: $12 res/$15 nr

Teams will need to combine the right mix of speed, agility, strategy, and teamwork to defeat their opponents in the Nerf Tournament Arena. Matches are played by teams of 4 players in Capture the Flag format, with referees. Players must wear protective eyewear, and provide an unmodified Nerf Dart gun. Standard darts will be provided and dart guns will be inspected before play begins. You may register as a single or as a team of four, but each player must register separately: be sure to indicate your teammates on your registration form.

Jelly Bean Guess

Stop by Walker Park and take a guess on how many jelly beans are in the jar. Winner will be notified by March 31st. Guessing begins March 1st.
