Programs/Services Some of our quality programs/services include: Playstation Daily activities include playtime, story and circle time, art projects, singing, snack time, and gym games. Monthly newsletters keep parents and significant others abreast on weekly themes and classroom curriculum. We have a ratio of one instructor for every 10 children. Staff maintains membership in the National Association of Young Children (NAEYC) and has first aid and CPR training. More information can be found on the on-line

(630) 662-6220. Extra Innings The Pleasant Dale Park District in cooperation with School District #107 offers before and after school recreational care for children in kindergarten through 8th grade. The program is held Monday through Fridays in the morning from 6:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., and in the afternoon from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A “School Day Out” program is also offered during many school holidays and institute days. Children who attend Pleasant Dale Elementary School are bussed to school in the morning and bussed to the Park District’s Chalet (family, fun, fitness) in the afternoon. Extra Innings offers a blend of structured and unstructured recreational activities. Staff members supervise children in a variety of games, sports, and seasonal craft projects. Time is also set aside for quiet activities such as homework, reading, or other independent projects. A light snack is provided during the afternoon session. Special enrollment forms must be completed prior to your child beginning this program. An easy to use punch card system allows your child to attend for as many or as few extended care days as your schedule requires! Registration Information All registrations that are mailed in or faxed in to the Recreation Center must be received by or postmarked no later than the appropriate dates below. Open registrations received prior to those acceptance dates will be held and processed during open registration in the order in which they are received. The Pleasant Dale Park District cannot guarantee it can accommodate those registration requests received after the published deadlines. Please check registration deadlines and register early to avoid disappointments. The Pleasant Dale Park District reserves the right to alter or change the program offered to serve the participants’ needs in the best manner possible. Resident registration for winter/spring programs begin upon receipt of winter/spring leisure guide! Open / non resident registration begins December 19. You will not be contacted to confirm your registration. Please make note of the programs for which you registered. You will be contacted when a program is filled, your registration form is incomplete or class has been cancelled due to insufficient registration. If you are placed on a waiting list every effort will be made to provide an acceptable alternative to your selection. You will be contacted regarding your options. Customer Satisfaction ProgramPleasant Dale Park District introduces its CUSTOMER SATISFACTION program: Refunds will be issued for any program canceled by the Pleasant Dale Park District. All refund requests must be received by the Park District a minimum of seven (7) days prior to the start of a program or the published registration date, whichever comes first. Refund requests for entire program fees if less than seven (7) days notice and/or after a program has begun only if a physician’s written excuse is presented. If, within two (2) class meetings, a patron is not pleased with the level of instruction or the quality of the program in which he/she is registered, the Park District will refund the patron for the balance of the program’s original registration fee. Note: No refunds will be issued for one-day programs and special events. A registrant in a bus trip may receive a refund if another registrant can fill his/her vacancy. Open

Rentals
Rental Fee: includes basic set-up of table and chairs. No alcoholic beverages permitted. Rentals are limited to regular business hours. All rental requests must be made in person at the Pleasant Dale Recreation Center, 7425 S. Wolf Road, Burr Ridge and are subject to approval by the Superintendent of Recreation. A $50 deposit is required for a valid contract and a certificate of insurance may be requested. For more information call (630) 662-6220. Rentals are also available at Chalet (family, fun, fitness). Room Rental Fees(All fees are based on an hourly rate)
Rent Freddy The Frog! Birthday Party Service Parties are held on Saturdays and Sundays. Reservations must be made in person at the Recreation Center, 7425 S. Wolf Rd., at least three weeks prior to requested date. A signed contract and $20 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your party date. No telephone reservations accepted. A list of offered games and activities is available from the registration desk. All parties are $135 for resident bookings and $170 for non-resident bookings. Final payments are due at the time of party and must be made in cash or by credit card only. PLEASE NOTE: For the safety of all partygoers and to maximize the fun, all parties have a minimum requirement of 10 and maximum of 20 children (don’t forget to count siblings!). No exceptions! The Snack Shack will once again be "on the road" this season with staff bringing soda and snacks to the outer limits of Walker Park, including East and West Fields in the new beverage cart. We're making it even easier to munch our at the Park! This is a season operation and hours will vary depending on programming schedules. For more information call (630) 662-6220. Our Fun Providers lead organized games and
take care of all the details to make for a memorable occasion. Party
packages include two party leaders, a personalized cake with candles,
ice cream, beverage, plus goodie bags with assorted candy. All parties
are 1 1/2 hours in length and include time to open gifts.
